Snobrand is a Latvian rock band from Riga, Latvia. It was formed in 2005 by S’hab and Parker who were 16 and 15 years old teenagers at the time. After a while S’habs brother, Apach (13 years old), as a bass guitar player and Rey (17 years old) as a drummer, joined them and in 2007 they together formed an early version of the band. In 2008 Apaches friend, Richy, also joined the band as a second guitar player. The last person, who fulfilled the bands sound, was Dj M.O.S. in the fall of 2009 and soon after Snobrand was established. The band’s first concept EP album, entitled Sick Nation was recorded during October – December and in 2010 the band started to work on albums art and presentation. Albums release and presentation is scheduled to be sometime in spring.
The members of the band include vocalist and songwriter Parker, guitarist S’hab, bassist Apach, drummer Rey, second guitarist Richy and Dj M.O.S.. The band combines different styles of rock and metal music always experimenting and developing their sound.
The main idea of a group is nesting in the phrase: “Enjoy your life like it’s a never ending celebration”, but also lyrically Parker expresses his view on the modern world and his personal life
